TSN Applications, Standards, and Certification in Aerospace & Defense
The 2nd Annual Aerospace & Defense TSN Summit invites contributions focused on Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) in aerospace and defense environments. The summit aims to provide a platform for aerospace & defense community and TSN experts to share advances, practical experiences, and insights into TSN-based solutions. A key objective of this summit is to build the ecosystem for MOSA-compliant onboard connectivity solutions (e.g., digital backbone) for new and modernized aerospace and defense platforms. The event brings together all stakeholders including end customers, airframes, system integrators, suppliers, technical experts, and researchers to accelerate the adoption and deployment of TSN-based solutions.
The summit welcomes submissions on a variety of topics related including but not limited to the following areas:
- Applications, use cases, and real-world implementations of TSN in aerospace & defense systems
- Experiments and pilot projects demonstrating TSN performance and benefits
- Modeling and design of TSN-based solutions for new and modernized platforms
- Verification and validation of TSN-based digital backbone
- Integration of network, compute, and I/O on TSN-based systems
- TSN components, networks, and standards relevant to aerospace and defense
- TSN standards, profiles, and technologies for mission-critical systems
- Solutions and best practices for implementing 802.1DP in aerospace and defense environments
- Methods for testing TSN networks and components
- Certification and conformance processes for TSN systems
- Testing and certification for IEEE Std. 802.1DP/SAE AS6675
- Best practices for ensuring reliable and secure TSN deployments
- Approaches for achieving compatibility across TSN-enabled systems
- Strategies for integrating TSN with existing aerospace and defense platforms
- Relevant case studies and lessons learned from TSN implementations for fixed wing aircraft, rotary wing aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, spacecrafts, and ground vehicles.
Submission Guidelines
- Presentations should highlight applications, use cases, experiments, or implementations related to TSN in aerospace and defense.
- Submissions should emphasize one or more of modeling, design, performance, testing, certification, conformance, and interoperability, particularly regarding the 802.1DP TSN profile.
- Please provide a brief (1 page) abstract, author information, and relevant supporting materials.
- Submissions should be emailed to submissions@adtsummit.com no later than May 30th
- Notifications of acceptance will be sent by July 15th
- If your submission is selected, full presentations are due by Sept 20th
